After many roadside distractions, a good visit with old friends and just plain pedal to the metal driving we made it. The Badlands are nothing less than spectacular.
We did some hiking and found ourselves at the top of this peak. The hike was up the back and not as steep as it looks. Cam did amazingly well for someone that claims to be scared of heights.
The campsite on the western side of the park. Campers here were from all over the world. The moon and stars were as bright as I have ever seen them.
